California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

This section provides additional information for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The terms used in this section have the same meaning as in the CCPA. This section does not apply to information that is not considered “personal information,” such as anonymous, de-identified, or aggregated information, nor does it apply to publicly available information as defined in the CCPA.
Information We Collect from You
We may collect the following categories of personal information from or about you:

How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal information for no longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
Opt-Out Preference Signals
Your browser may support an automatic opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).
When we detect such a signal, we will treat it as a request to opt-out of sale/sharing for that browser.

Your CCPA Rights
Under the CCPA, California residents have the following rights:

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information: Currently not applicable, as we do not use sensitive data to infer characteristics.
To make a privacy request, please email hello@primalsource.co with the subject line “CCPA Request.”
If you make an access request more than twice in a 12-month period, or if the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a reasonable fee.
Verification and Authorized Agents
Before fulfilling a request, we will verify your identity — typically by confirming access to the email associated with your account.
Authorized agents may submit requests by emailing hello@primalsource.co, but we may require confirmation of your authorization and identity.
Notice of Financial Incentive
Consumers who sign up for Primal Source marketing emails or SMS texts may receive a discount on their first purchase.
To opt in, you must enter your email address or phone number and consent to receive communications in exchange for a discount code.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or replying “STOP” to SMS messages.
The value of this incentive is reasonably related to the cost associated with offering the discount.
